Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of technicians and engineers across multiple offices.
  • Participate in preparing service proposals and business development activities.
  • Assist in project budgeting and negotiate fees with clients.
  • Ensure the group meets technical, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Manage project aspects such as cost estimation, budget control, and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate activities with other disciplines and areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of group growth strategies.
  • Aid in recruiting, onboarding, and developing talent within the team.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of deliverables from the team.
  • Optimize and implement best practices in the discipline.
  • Manage subcontractor activities and ensure quality control of deliverables.

AECOM est à la recherche d'un(e) Chef(fe) de service - Ponts et Structures pour joindre son équipe de l'Est du Canada. Relevant du Responsable des Opérations de la ligne d'affaires Transport, la personne retenue jouera un rôle clé dans le développement, la gestion et la croissance de l'équipe Ponts et Structures. Elle contribuera à la réalisation de projets d'envergure en conception, en inspection et en surveillance, tout en assurant l'excellence technique, la performance opérationnelle et le développement des affaires.

Principales responsabilités

Les responsabilités de ce poste comprennent notamment :
  • Encadrer, mobiliser et superviser une équipe de techniciens et d'ingénieurs répartis dans plusieurs bureaux, en étant supporté par des chefs d'équipes sous sa charge;
  • Participer à la préparation des offres de services et aux activités de développement des affaires;
  • Participer à la préparation des budgets de projets, avec l'aide des chargés de projets sous sa responsabilité, et négocier les honoraires avec les clients;
  • Assurer l'atteinte des objectifs techniques, opérationnels et financiers du groupe;
  • Participer à la gestion de projets, notamment l'estimation des coûts et le contrôle des budgets, le suivi des échéanciers, le développement de projets, le respect et l'application des processus ISO, les revues de qualité et l'organisation du travail;
  • Coordonner les activités avec les autres disciplines et secteurs d'expertise;
  • Participer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des stratégies de croissance du groupe;
  • Contribuer au recrutement, à l'intégration et au développement des talents;
  • Veiller à la qualité et à la conformité des livrables produits par l'équipe;
  • Développer, optimiser et implanter les méthodes de travail et les meilleures pratiques de la discipline;
  • Gérer et coordonner les sous-traitants;
  • Effectuer la révision technique et le contrôle de la qualité des livrables;
  • Agir à titre de chargé(e) de projet ou directeur(rice) de projet sur certains mandats lorsque requis.


Qualifications

Qualifications requises
  • Baccalauréat en génie civil, spécialisation en structures;
  • Minimum de 8 ans d'expérience en conception de structures en béton armé, béton précontraint, acier, structures mixtes acier-béton ou bois;
  • Expérience pertinente dans le domaine des ponts et des ouvrages d'art;
  • Maîtrise de logiciels d'analyse structurale tels que ADA (Visual Design), SAFI, SAP2000 ou CSiBridge;
  • Formations du MTMD requises;
  • Expérience en gestion de personnel sous sa charge directe;
  • Excellentes aptitudes en rédaction de rapports techniques et de devis;
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais);
  • Capacité démontrée à diriger et à mobiliser une équipe multidisciplinaire afin d'atteindre les objectifs de qualité, de coûts et d'échéanciers;
  • Membre en règle de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).

Qualifications souhaitées
  • Diplôme universitaire de deuxième cycle avec spécialisation en structures;
  • Minimum de 15 ans d'expérience en conception de structures en béton armé, béton précontraint, acier, structures mixtes acier-béton ou bois;
  • Au moins 10 ans d'expérience dans la conception d'ouvrages d'art;
  • Expérience en gestion d'équipe et en développement des affaires dans un environnement de consultation.
