Responsibilities

  • Review the social aspects of environmental assessments including baseline studies, consultations, and analysis of social and cumulative impacts
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses and understand social acceptability issues
  • Prepare and implement public consultation processes
  • Ensure quality of deliverables, budgets, and timelines
  • Lead or participate in preparing proposals (strategy, work plan, budget, etc.)
  • Lead or participate in conducting environmental impact studies and related studies within a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain effective and constructive relationships with clients

Aperçu

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) Chef(fe) d'équipe en environnement social pour assurer la coordination et le développement de l'équipe sociale. Le/la candidat(e) relèvera de la directrice, Évaluation environnementale et Participation des collectivités (EEPC), le poste est offert à nos bureaux de Montréal, Boucherville ou Québec.

L'équipe EEPC regroupe plus de 95 employés de tous les niveaux et participant à des projets majeurs dans le domaine des infrastructures, énergie renouvelable, développement industriel et minier, etc. Notre groupe collabore activement sur différents projets majeurs et structurants au Québec.

Votre rôle

  • Réviser le volet social des évaluations environnementales incluant : les études de base, les consultations et l'analyse des impacts sociaux et des impacts cumulatifs.
  • Réaliser des analyses des parties prenantes et être en mesure de saisir les problématiques d'acceptabilité social.
  • Préparer et mettre en œuvre des processus de consultations publiques.
  • Assurer le respect de la qualité des livrables, des budgets et des échéanciers.
  • Diriger et/ou participer à la préparation de propositions (stratégie, plan de travail, budget, etc.).
  • Diriger et/ou participer à la réalisation d'études d'impact sur l'environnement et autres études connexes, au sein d'une équipe multidisciplinaire.
  • Maintenir des relations efficaces et constructives avec les clients dans le cadre de ses attributions.


À propos de vous

  • Études universitaires en sciences sociales (géographie, anthropologie, sociologie ou autre domaine pertinent).
  • 8 à 10 ans d'expérience concrète relative à l'analyse des enjeux sociaux dans le cadre d'étude d'impact environnemental et social.
  • Expérience avec les communautés autochtones.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en rédaction (français et anglais,) et en communication.
  • Excellente capacité à travailler en équipe.
