Job Description: - Prepares monthly schedules for the assigned unit, ensuring coverage for all cases scheduled and add-on cases.
- Assists with performance appraisals, corrective actions, and counseling.
- Provides required documentation for personnel files in a timely manner.
- Utilizes time effectively and accomplish duties within the necessary timeframe with minimal supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Communicates courteously with internal and external customers in person or on the telephone.
- Demonstrates respect for co-workers and develops positive working relationships with other departments.
- Participates in hourly rounding using the AIDET technique to improve patient outcomes.
- Incorporates Caring Model behaviors and culturally competent care into daily practice.
- Monitors staff compliance with customer service behaviors and reinforce hospital goals for service management.
- Adheres to organizational standards for dress and professional appearance.
- Collaborates and demonstrates teamwork in managing patient flow, promoting timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Assists the Nurse Leader or designee with updates and maintenance of unit records, reports, and forms.

Education: - Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study: Work Experience: - 1+ experience as rn in critical care or relevant specialty area [Preferred]
- 1+ leadership experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications: - Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) [Required]
- Neonatal Resucitation Program (NRP) [Required]

Pay Range:$32.76 - $57.47
