Our ambition is simple: make change more human, adaptive, measurable, and impactful for our clients.
Here, you won't just apply a methodology. You'll solve complex transformation challenges, develop your craft, contribute your perspective, and help shape how our Change practice evolves. If you're excited about both practicing change management and advancing it, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do:
Lead a client engagement, owning delivery from initiation to outcome.
Understand the client's environment, ecosystem, and industry context, translating a desired outcome or vision into an executable plan that a team can follow and deliver against.
Navigate complex client environments, including those with competing priorities or unclear requirements.
Build and manage relationships with key client stakeholders, while engaging effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the client as required.
Manage the commercial mechanics of the engagement including resourcing, change control, and scoping.
Identify and shape business development opportunities within existing accounts, contribute to proposal development and begin to progress opportunities.
Articulate the firm's value clearly and connect client needs to potential solutions.
Build familiarity with North Highland's go-to-market strategy and products, and how these can be adapted to new clients.
Build team capability through coaching, clear direction, and addressing blockers to performance.
Maintain accurate and timely operational data such as timesheets and project updates as the foundation for good decision-making across the firm. Reinforce its importance across the team.
Use AI tools to support and accelerate work. Apply critical thinking to all prompts and AI generated outputs. Understand the risks of taking AI output at face value and take full ownership of everything produced, regardless of how it was generated.
What we are looking for:
Prior experience in management consulting or professional services, acting as engagement lead or equivalent, with accountability for full project delivery.
Experience managing the commercial responsibilities of a consulting engagement: margin, invoicing, resourcing, and scoping.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and navigate complex client engagements, sensitive environments and take difficult situations to successful outcomes.
Experience leading and developing a consulting team, including performance management and career development of others.
Ability to and interest in contributing to business development activity, with evidence of starting to lead pursuits and proposals independently.
For this position specifically:
Lead complex, enterprise-scale change and transformation engagements from strategy through execution, adoption, and sustainment.
Shape pragmatic, insight-driven change strategies that connect business outcomes to the behaviors, capabilities, and ways of working required to achieve them.
Lead and integrate the core disciplines of change management, including stakeholder and leadership alignment, change impact and readiness, communications and engagement, learning and capability building, adoption, and sustainment.
Advise client leaders on the people implications of transformation, bringing a strong point of view while adapting approaches to each organization's context, culture, and ambition.
Lead multidisciplinary change teams and workstreams, providing direction, coaching, quality assurance, and hands-on leadership to deliver meaningful client outcomes.
Establish meaningful measures of change effectiveness and adoption, using data, employee insight, and feedback loops to continuously adapt the change approach.
Partner across business, technology, product, program, and transformation teams to embed change management into broader delivery approaches, including Agile, product, and iterative ways of working.
Bring curiosity and innovation to the craft of change management, including thoughtful use of AI, automation, analytics, and emerging techniques to improve how we understand stakeholders, create content, generate insight, and deliver change at scale.
Contribute to the continued evolution of our Change practice through thought leadership, capability building, development of new approaches and assets, and coaching of colleagues.
Bring experience leading change within large-scale transformations. Experience across retail, CPG, financial services, public sector, or energy is valuable but not required.
