CFO - Beverage Industry

We're hiring a Chief Financial Officer for a boutique beverage company based in Santa Monica, CA. This is an opportunity for a strategic, commercially minded finance leader to partner directly with the CEO and help scale a growing brand. The role combines business strategy with hands-on leadership across finance, commercial operations, and profitability. Key responsibilities: • Shape financial strategy and guide decisions around pricing, distribution, product launches, and expansion. • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting. • Analyze product, customer, and channel profitability to improve margins and guide investment. • Partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams on promotional spending, inventory, and working capital. • Strengthen financial systems, reporting, and controls to support growth. • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team. • Deliver clear financial insights to the CEO, Board, and investors. What we're looking for: • Beverage alcohol industry experience, with spirits strongly preferred; beer and wine backgrounds will also be considered. • Strategic finance leadership experience as a CFO, senior finance executive, or strong number-two leader ready to step into the CFO role. • Experience supporting emerging or high-growth consumer brands. • Strong understanding of distributor economics, pricing, trade spend, inventory, and cash flow. • A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and the ability to partner across the business. Experience with a celebrity-backed brand is a plus. Southern California candidates are preferred, with flexibility for remote work and availability for in-person meetings in Los Angeles.
