Overview

Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a well-established, midwife-led women's health practice in the Austin area.

This unique opportunity offers a true midwifery model of care focused on building meaningful patient relationships, providing individualized support, and delivering comprehensive women's healthcare across the lifespan. The practice is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care and fosters a collaborative environment where providers are empowered to practice at the top of their license while working closely with a highly experienced team.

This position is ideal for a CNM who is passionate about midwifery, values continuity of care, and is interested in a leadership-focused opportunity within an innovative and growing practice.

Practice & Position Highlights
  • Midwife led practice with a true midwifery model of care, supported by a collaborative team of 6 Certified Nurse Midwives, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 OB/GYN physician collaborator
  • Build and grow your own patient panel while practicing within a supportive, team oriented environment
  • Strong mentorship and collaboration from an experienced midwifery team committed to individualized, patient centered care
  • Full scope midwifery practice including prenatal care, labor and delivery management, postpartum care, gynecologic care, reproductive healthcare, patient education, and counseling
  • 2 to 3 clinic days per week with an average of 14 to 16 patients per day and 30 minute appointment slots
  • Average of 10 deliveries per month in a hospital setting- Women's Center at North Austin Medical Center
  • 24 hour physician backup available in the hospital
  • 1:6 call schedule on average with no clinic responsibilities when on call
  • Home call available for providers who live within 30 minutes of the hospital
  • Protected post call days off to support work life balance
