Full Job Description
This is a remote position with an ideal base location in Dallas, TX. Travel throughout the Central United States is required.

What the Role Is

The Central Regional Manager, On-Premise National Accounts will direct and manage all activities of assigned accounts to maximize Heaven Hill Brands portfolio potential. This position will focus on meeting and exceeding business plans and performance objectives, while meeting the needs of key headquarter national chain accounts.

How You Will Spend Your Time?
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key on-premise national accounts to achieve agreed upon distribution and sales goals
  • Build long-term working relationships with the national account decision makers and key wholesaler national account teams
  • Develop specific account level strategies, plans, and programs
  • Identify individual account priorities and needs
  • Call on assigned accounts and develop/maintain individual relationships in multiple functions of the organization
  • Monitors chain account performance (depletions, shipments, pricing, promotional materials)
  • Develop, communicate and implement national strategic initiatives and brand priorities for assigned accounts
  • Develop and execute successful programs in each of the assigned key headquarter accounts
  • Develop and implement account level metrics to evaluate pre-program potential and post-program volume/share gain for Heaven Hill Brands
  • Effectively communicates progress against initiatives
  • Displays vision and a keen sense of the future, seeking new business/distribution opportunities
  • Informs management of changing competitive situations

Who You Are...
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business with emphasis in Management, Marketing, etc. or equivalent experience
  • Minimum seven (7) years sales experience, with three (3) years of proven success managing large national chains, preferably on-premise
  • Minimum three (3) plus years' National Account supplier experience in distilled spirits/wine industry
  • Analytical skills, in particular gathering data from a wide variety of sources, and presenting it in formats suitable for a wide variety of audiences
  • Professional and effective presentation skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workload while maintaining quality and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and keep senior management informed of all concerns, changes, and developments
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; must be a self-starter
  • Must be customer centric with good negotiation and business expansion skills
  • Strong, fluent, and current knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, syndicated and consumer data (Nielsens)
  • Proficient with distributor data bases for communication and analytics of the business
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent critical thinking skills with ability using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Frequent travel required
  • Valid Driver's License required

Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:
  • Emphasis in Management and/or Marketing
  • Sales experience in a distilled spirits industry
  • Advanced computer proficiency
