Construction Services Practice
Michael Baker is actively seeking a CEI Project Manager to join our San Antonio, TX office. The CEI Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing transportation construction engineering and inspection (CEI) projects throughout the San Antonio region and across Texas. This role will oversee field supervisors, provide leadership to inspection teams, and support the successful delivery of highway and bridge construction projects, primarily for TxDOT. This is a leadership position requiring extensive construction management, contract administration, business development, and client relationship experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of transportation CEI and Construction Management services, a history of successful project delivery, and the ability to foster long-term client partnerships.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate with construction contractors, owners, inspectors, and project stakeholders.

What You Need to Succeed:

10+ years of transportation construction engineering, inspection, and construction management experience.

Strong knowledge of TxDOT procedures, specifications, and construction inspection requirements.
Demonstrated leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
Proven business development and team-building capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with MicroStation, Primavera P6, and/or MS Project preferred.
TxDOT certifications and/or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Compensation:
The approximate compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $195,000 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
