Full Job Description
Key Purpose

Responsible and accountable for proactive leadership, direction, and support for all phases of catering events and "day of" coordination and the guest experience. Oversee hourly catering team members to ensure service execution of catered events. To drive a delivery vehicle for the purpose of delivering prepared foods from the production kitchen to various sites, following a predetermined schedule.

Note: The scheduled work days for this position are Wednesday- Sunday.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence
  • Coordinate activities with other internal departments. Participate in management team meetings
  • Interface with vendors and key service users within client organization
  • Works with the Catering Managers in preparing performance objectives and evaluating the service staff
  • Collaborates with clients and the Catering Managers regarding proper set-up, event execution, and resetting for the day/evening
  • Must work directly with food production to ensure proper portioning and production needs are met


Ideal Candidate Experience
  • At least 2 years providing excellent one on one customer service in hospitality, food service or retail environments
  • Previous experience supervising others
  • ServSafe Certification
  • Demonstrates experience using basic computer software, previous knowledge of Cater Trax or a similar catering software and Google Suite a plus
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Clean and safe DMV driving record


Key Accountabilities
  • Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents
  • Comply with all SERV Safe and HACCP programs and principles
  • Manage and update Cater Trax catering software per client requests
  • Works with the Catering Managers in the preparation of performance objectives and evaluation of the service staff
  • Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback while ensuring knowledge of food menus and specialty promotions
  • Ensure all events are set up and broken down according to the site standards and are delivered for accuracy and presentation that is both appealing and logical to the user
  • Manage catering inventory
  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
  • Constant communication with the team and management regarding any guest special needs
  • Supports the operation, if needed, by assisting with service delivery


Physical Demands & Work Environments
  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Prolonged periods of walking or standing
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Employee must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

The annual salary range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00 . Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the above range.
