Cardiology APP (NP/PA) | Outpatient Focus | Central Florida
A large, well-established cardiovascular group in Central Florida is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative, physician-led team. This full-time opportunity emphasizes outpatient cardiology, including follow-up visits, chronic disease management, and continuity of care, with some hospital involvement as needed.
Job Highlights
Full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule
Outpatient-focused role supporting the evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions
Provide follow-up care, manage medications, review diagnostic results, and educate patients
Collaborate with physicians and APPs to coordinate treatment plans and ongoing care
Some inpatient responsibilities, including hospital rounding and consults, as needed
Join a large cardiology group with 15+ physicians and 15+ APPs across multiple locations
Work alongside specialists in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and vascular care
Access to advanced cardiac diagnostics, imaging, and procedural services
Main clinic located in Tavares, Florida
Qualifications
Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida license or ability to obtain
Cardiology experience preferred, but not required
Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities
Team-oriented approach and commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
