This is an
onsite role in our Orlando office.
Overall Responsibility:
Assists with planning and implementing business development and capture programs targeted toward existing and new markets.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Manages the development and execution of capture efforts for assigned DoD market sectors.
- Actively pursues and secures qualified leads and business opportunities.
- Opportunity tracking, reporting, and management
- Leads proposal development efforts, interfacing with Program Managers, Technical team, finance and contracts, as well as subcontractors and suppliers as required.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains relationships with key industry partners to identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Attend industry and Government meetings, industry days, and conferences as required
Qualifications:- B.S. Degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, technical management, related degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge and familiarity of US government acquisition processes (FAR, OTA, SBIR/STTR, etc.)
- Minimum of 5 years of program/project management and/or business development/capture experience.
- Excellent organizational, decision making, and communications skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
- Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
- Travel is required
