Description The Capture Manager is responsible for leading capture efforts, conducting market analysis, and devising capture strategies to win contracts supporting DoW, US/foreign governments, and OEMs. This leader will work closely with internal stakeholders, defense contractors, prime contractors, and OEMs in developing executable support and sustainment strategies resulting in lower life cycle costs for the customer, and reasonable profit for AAR.
What you will be responsible for:- Win contracts supporting DoW, US/foreign governments, and OEMs, in developing strategies to grow these markets
- Interacts and collaborates across AAR's functional staff and other AAR business units to generate cost effective winning capture strategies
- Develops capture plans and supports the pursuit of assigned captures in the pipeline according to AAR strategic goals
- Contributes and recommends business and marketing strategies to achieve maximum penetration consistent with Company financial objectives
- Prepares customer and internal presentations
- Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values and culture of AAR
- Ensures all capture activity is conducted in a compliant and ethical manner consistent with Government laws and the high standards of AAR
QualificationsWhat you will need to be successful in this role: - 5 years of related professional experience in defense or the defense industry with a focus on Product Support and Integration, Engineering
- Services, CLS, and/or supply chain management is required.
- Knowledge of the Shiply Capture and Proposal Management processes
- Must have ability to obtain up to Top Secret level clearance.
- Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or ten years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation: The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $165,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.
