Business Transformation Team at EY are strategic thinkers working on the front lines with our clients, colleagues and strategic alliances to transform businesses. Our team is at the heart of transformations, which are most often triggered by constantly evolving consumer needs, economic, technological or regulatory changes. It is typically in these contexts that we operate collaborating closely and acting as a bridge with various teams and expertise within the transformation ecosystem, such as technology, risk, change management, etc.

Our engagements span a wide range of areas, including strategic assessments, target operating model design, operations optimisation, helping with system/vendor selections and to implement mid to large-scale transformation opportunities, including AI-enabled solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • The Business Transformation Manager focuses on strategy, future operating models, innovation and execution. The sheer nature of wide scope of work will require you to collaborate across teams to bring the best of EY to solve the client's problem statements
  • Lead engagements/key workstreams - Manage the delivery of small and large/complex client engagements including planning (e.g. establish clear goals), execution (e.g. manage progress/risks), stakeholder management (e.g. manage expectations of service), and delivering strategic outcomes within expected timeframes and budget
  • Team management - Support people development through activities such as mentoring, counseling programs, constructive on-job feedback fostering an innovative and team-oriented work environment
  • Business & practice development - Assist the partner and the team by contributing to business development initiatives incl. developing proposals and scoping documents, and proactively building relationships with clients and peers at EY

To Qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, engineering or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's degree) or relevant professional certifications (CFA, PMP, etc.)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the banking or insurance industry, or with a fintech, or as an internal/external consultant working on strategy, business transformation, program management, product, operations and/or technology projects
  • Structured problem solving, quantitative analysis, and story lining skills
  • Extensive experience in project and program delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members
  • Experience in business development activities such as proposal responses
  • Proficiency in English and French languages, both written and spoken is required


Ideally, you should also have
  • Deep understanding of current market trends in the financial services industry and knowledge of key problems faced by banks or insurers and ideas how some of these can be solved through automation and digitalisations
  • Experience with working across functions and stakeholders in retail/private banking, commercial/investment banking and/or wealth and asset management
