Job Title: Business Systems Administrator

Location: Lafayette, CA (Hybrid-3 days per week in office)

FLSA Status: Exempt

Compensation: $116,579 + opportunities for a quarterly bonus

Reports to: Director of IT & Business Analytics

We are seeking a Business Systems Administrator to join our IT team to bridge the gap between our core IT infrastructure, cloud applications, and data reporting systems. In this role, you'll actively optimize how our software applications communicate, administer identity and access management, and build the Business Intelligence (BI) reports that drive executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Systems & IT Administration: Serve as primary administrator for core SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Jamf, Asana, HubSpot, EHR systems). Manage user onboarding/offboarding, role-based access control (RBAC), MFA, and security policy enforcement.
  • Integration & Systems Maintenance: Maintain app-to-app integrations, APIs, and workflows to ensure seamless internal data flow. Troubleshoot complex software errors beyond standard helpdesk support and partner with software vendors on updates, licensing, and feature rollouts.
  • BI, Data Analytics & Reporting: Design and build interactive operational and executive dashboards using BI tools (Yellowfin BI, Tableau, Power BI). Write and tune complex SQL queries across relational databases and reporting lakes.
  • Compliance & Functional Analysis: Perform regular data audits to eliminate redundancies and enforce privacy standards (including HIPAA). Translate department head business needs into functional specifications for custom reports and automation.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in a blended role spanning Systems Administration, Business Systems Analysis, or Application Support.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries, building dashboards in modern BI tools, and managing admin portals for Google Workspace and Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Problem-Solving & Data Pipelines: Proven ability to diagnose application bugs or data discrepancies, untangle complex integration failures, and propose scalable technical solutions.
  • Communication & Adaptability: Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, write technical documentation, and balance reactive support with structured, proactive analytics projects.

What we offer:
  • Nurturing learning environment with professional development and career advancement opportunities.
  • Competitive salary with opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
  • Comprehensive health coverage (Medical, Dental, and Vision) starting from day one.
  • Company-provided computer and mobile device with a monthly internet stipend.
  • Generous paid time off including vacation, wellness, and sick days to support work-life balance.
  • Monthly Health & Wellness allowance to promote physical and mental well-being.
