The Business Intelligence Coordinator supports the firm’s financial and operational decision-making by producing reports, maintaining data quality, and assisting with pricing and client analytics. The role works closely with analytics, accounting, KM&I and leadership to turn data into actionable insights and improve firm-wide reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards using office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) and other reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) to support decision-making and improve business processes.
Support users of Iridium by troubleshooting basic issues, responding to user questions and documenting common workflows, escalating more complex issues to senior team members as appropriate.
Respond to fee estimate and pricing requests and coordinate with senior analysts on assumptions and scenarios.
Conduct PitchBook and market research to support business development and facilitate client and investor research, aligning external data sources with internal metrics to create cohesive and insight-driven materials.
Prepare and analyze ad hoc financial, client, matter and personnel reports, highlighting trends, variances, and key metrics for stakeholders in finance, operations and practice leadership.
Collaborate across departments to identify, collect and analyze data needed for projects and recurring reporting cycles.
Assist with data cleansing and update initiatives, including validating key fields, researching discrepancies, and coordinating corrections in source systems
Maintain clear documentation of recurring reports, data sources, and standard processes to support continuity and knowledge sharing within the team.
Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, analytics, information systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience in reporting, business intelligence, financial analysis, operations, or a related role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., PivotTables, lookups, formulas) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
Ability to interpret and reconcile data across multiple sources; attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and external parties, including an ability to translate user requirements into desired outputs.
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities with ability to derive connections and synthesize information and facts.
Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Ability to work overtime.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in a professional services or law firm environment.
Experience in or knowledge of the venture capital market.

Full-Time, Non-Exempt
The annualized base salary range for this position is expected to be $85,000.00-$90,000.00.While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, benefits, or related incentives for which this position is eligible.
