Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve spend analysis and cost modeling tools that support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Build detailed pricing models for direct and indirect materials to identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiation leverage.
  • Analyze supplier cost structures, market trends, commodity movements, and inflationary impacts.
  • Conduct scenario analysis related to demand fluctuations, supply disruptions, and business growth initiatives.
  • Quantify and communicate the financial impact of pricing changes across multiple manufacturing and operating locations.
  • Develop actionable reporting and metrics to improve procurement performance and cost visibility.
  • Validate pricing and contract compliance within Oracle ERP and related systems.
  • Negotiation Support & Commercial Analysis
  • Prepare comprehensive negotiation support packages, including cost breakdowns, benchmarking, and savings analyses.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements to identify opportunities, risks, and leverage points.
  • Support Category Managers and Procurement Leadership with fact-based recommendations and financial analysis.
  • Track realized savings, cost avoidance, and supplier commitments against negotiated objectives.
  • Develop reporting to support strategic initiatives such as supplier consolidation, duplicate part reduction, spend compliance, and maverick spend elimination.
  • Partner with sourcing teams to develop data-driven negotiation strategies that improve commercial outcomes.
  • Design and maintain executive dashboards that provide visibility into spend, savings, supplier performance, and supply risk.
  • Prepare leadership and board-ready presentations summarizing financial exposure, mitigation strategies, and sourcing performance.
  • Translate operational and supply chain metrics into meaningful financial insights for executive audiences.
  • Consolidate, validate, and analyze data from multiple sites and business functions to support enterprise-level decisions.
  • Develop reporting packages that improve visibility into procurement performance and working capital initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and purchasing data within Oracle ERP.
  • Perform periodic audits to ensure pricing, contracts, and purchasing transactions align with established agreements.
  • Establish standardized reporting methodologies and analytical controls to improve data quality and consistency.
  • Drive continuous improvements in pricing governance, reporting accuracy, and procurement analytics.
  • Support system enhancements and process improvements that strengthen data integrity and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Operations, Planning, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide analytical support for quarterly business reviews, supplier reviews, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and financial impacts confidently to senior leadership.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable business insights.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and special projects that improve operational and financial performance.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
  • 4-7 years of experience in procurement analytics, strategic sourcing, supply chain finance, financial analysis, or related disciplines.

Skills
  • Strong Oracle ERP experience with a proven ability to manage pricing and procurement data.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial modeling, scenario analysis, Power Query, PivotTables, and data visualization.
  • Experience supporting supplier negotiations through detailed cost and commercial analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in an open concept office environment.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed to respond to the business needs of a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to work around chemicals (such as solids and acids)

Physical Requirements
