Position Purpose
The Business Operations Manager is a senior leadership role within the Eleven Operations team. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Eleven operations team in furthering its understanding and operations of each business unit. This role also acts as a collaborative partner and liaison between the operations team and the other departments within Eleven Central. In doing so, this position will support key annual business deliverables, lead major cross functional or internal projects, and be the point person for analysis of business performance and new opportunities. This is a multidisciplinary role that requires experience in an entrepreneurial business environment and hospitality and guiding operations. Experience collaborating across various departments is also key.
Additionally, this role will act as a unifying force across all teams and behave as a leader within the Eleven operations team. They will encourage and support all coworkers to deliver the Eleven product to the highest possible standard every day. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Eleven Central Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional projects supporting broader business functions, including the annual budgeting cycle and product development, in partnership with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Business Systems
Partner with Finance on business optimization analysis. Coordinate and manage operational inputs into models built by the Finance team, ensuring operational realities are accurately reflected
Produce decks and financial analysis for Eleven's leaders and ownership to review
Manage and develop an existing direct report responsible for training and project coordination, operations systems, training and project coordination support
Act as project manager relative to Eleven's product development process ensuring timely completion of operations deliverables across multiple business units
Coordinate operational deliverables relative to new company wide business initiatives
Eleven Operations Responsibilities
Seek out opportunities to enhance business performance such as supporting upsell revenue strategy or enhancing product inclusions
Manage annual goal setting and tracking processes for the operations team
Work with operations leadership to create new quality assessment and product innovation workflows
Serve as a strategic thought partner to the COO, Director of Global Operations, Activity Vertical Operations Managers, Director of Engineering, and all property leaders
Lead project management for property opening projects end-to-end, including the upcoming 2029 property launch, coordinating across internal operations teams and external departments (sales, marketing, finance)
Act as a central point of coordination and support for the operations leadership team
Build strong working relationships with property leaders across different countries, languages, and professional backgrounds, ensuring alignment and consistency across properties. Support them in completing deliverables at the property level and for Eleven Central
Travel to property locations to support product quality, operations optimization, and training
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in business operations, project management, or business development, with demonstrated success operating at a senior/strategic level
Experience in an entrepreneurial business environment, ideally within hospitality, guiding, adventure, or related experiential industries
Proven track record leading cross-functional projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders (e.g., finance, sales, marketing, operations)
Experience managing or coordinating property/site openings, launches, or comparable large-scale operational projects
Strong written communication and Excel/analytical skills, with experience producing materials for executive or leadership audiences
Experience managing or developing direct reports
Special Position Requirements
Ability to travel internationally, including to remote or rural property locations
Comfort working across time zones and coordinating with teams in multiple countries
Valid passport and ability to obtain any necessary travel documentation or visas.
