You will drive strategic initiatives spanning business planning, objectives and key results frameworks, operational reviews, and process improvements that enable our infrastructure teams to execute and innovate at scale. The ideal candidate brings deep experience operating in complex, technical environments, communicating effectively across all levels of an organization, and translating ambiguous business challenges into structured, actionable plans.

Responsibilities

Drive operational excellence across the Infrastructure organization by identifying systemic inefficiencies, designing scalable processes, and implementing improvements that measurably enhance team performance and execution velocity
• Lead strategic planning cycles including annual goal-setting, objectives and key results development, multi-year fiscal planning, and headcount resource allocation in partnership with Infrastructure leadership
• Develop and maintain executive-level communications including business reviews, leadership briefings, and organizational updates for internal and cross-functional audiences
• Identify and frame ambiguous organizational challenges, structure analytical approaches, and deliver data-driven recommendations to senior and executive leadership
• Own and drive high-priority special projects and cross-functional initiatives on behalf of Infrastructure leadership, coordinating across engineering, finance, recruiting, and operations teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners across the Infrastructure ecosystem, ensuring alignment on shared priorities and operational dependencies
• Design and implement mechanisms to monitor organizational health, track progress against strategic objectives, and surface risks or blockers to leadership in a timely manner
• Support headcount planning and hiring execution by partnering with recruiting and finance to manage open roles, track pipeline health, and ensure alignment with approved resource plans
• Apply quantitative and analytical methods including financial modeling, scenario planning, and data analysis to support infrastructure investment decisions and capacity planning trade-offs
• Mentor other business operations professionals and contribute to the development of best practices, playbooks, and operational frameworks that scale across the broader Infrastructure organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience leading strategic planning processes including goal-setting frameworks, resource planning, and executive business reviews in complex, matrixed environments
• Experience applying quantitative and analytical methods to solve business problems, including financial modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning
• Experience defining and executing plans in environments with evolving priorities and incomplete information, including scoping projects, identifying dependencies, and adapting plans based on new data
• Experience communicating complex operational and strategic topics in writing to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization

• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience working within or directly supporting infrastructure, network, security, or capacity planning engineering organizations
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize or redesign operational workflows and drive measurable efficiency or quality improvements
• Experience querying and analyzing data using SQL, Hive, or similar tools to generate business insights and support operational decision-making
• Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field
