Job Responsibilities: What you will doGather business requirements. Assess reporting requests. Develop effective solutions and validate the final product prior to production release. Perform analysis to provide real solutions for both technical and business related issues associated with the implementation of business intelligence (BI) applications.
- Develop solutions to complex business issues and provide consultation on the implementation process.
- Collaborate with all levels of leadership to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.
- Formulate logical statements of business requirements.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions and provide system design recommendations to end users and/or leadership.
- Receive report requests and gather and evaluate appropriate data, identifying inconsistencies and/or anomalies.
- Troubleshoot and fix complex issues with existing reports.
- Provide technical support and leadership on KNX reporting and analytical tools.
- Develop business intelligence tools and analytic applications to enable end users access and the ability to analyze data in the data warehouse and multidimensional data marts.
- Perform project management functions; document and communicate process flows for project data and provide it to the warehouse team.
- Establish best practices and standard operating procedures for the BI team.
- Ensure information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise and team policies and standards.
- Collaborate with other BI Analysts in the development of business intelligence tools and analytic applications to enable end users access and the ability to analyze data in the data warehouse and multidimensional data marts.
- Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.

Qualifications: What you need to bring- 3+ years experience with data analysis/mining and/or business intelligence report design required.
- Trucking/transportation industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
- Masters preferred.
- Must possess strong technical, financial and business acumen.
- Must be proficient in data modeling and database design techniques.
- Must possess exceptional skills in working with standard databases, query tools and programming languages.
- Must possess strong analytical skills.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
