Business Efficiency Analyst II plays a key role in efficiency projects across Redwood Credit Union, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure Members are served more consistently and efficiently, while still providing personalized service and solutions. You will use your understanding of business processes and technology, critical thinking skills, and ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business partners to design, develop, and deliver solutions for Members, teammates, and communities served.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Analysis and Design:o Conduct observations and interviews with process performers and owners to gather experiential information about as-is processes.
o Partner with the data team to gather quantitative information about as-is processes.
o Lead collaborative workshops with key stakeholders to document end-to-end as-is processes, internal/external pain points, and desired outcomes for optimization and automation.
o Use Lean principles to provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements
o Document to-be processes and partner with business leadership to implement.
o Develop success metrics and monitoring procedures for quantifying improvement process improvement benefits.
o Identify technology gaps and automation opportunities in existing processes.
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:o Elicit business requirements for processes and technology from a diversity of stakeholders from front-line team members to senior leadership.
o Use NPS and other sources of Member feedback to develop requirements for public-facing systems and processes.
o Analyze requirements and develop success criteria and KPIs for technical and process solutions.
o Manage requirements in multiple SDLCs, including Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.
Leadership & Other Functions:o Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse business stakeholders.
o Facilitate discussions between business leadership and IT.
o Train and educate staff on processes and efficiency.
o Participate in community events.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of current business analysis techniques.
- Knowledge of multiple SDLCs, including Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall.
- Knowledge of process management techniques.
- Knowledge of project management techniques.
- Ability to quickly analyze information and make recommendations.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to manage, develop, and implement technology related projects.
- Ability to work weekends and late nights when needed.
- Ability to interact and communicate with outside vendors.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people.

- Ability to communicate and collaborate with both onshore and offshore vendors
Licenses and Certifications- IIBA Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) desired.
- Six Sigma or similar certification desired.
The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business administration, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or closely related
field, and a minimum of three years' experience in business analysis, process analysis, system design and integration, or similar. Prior experience in financial services is a plus.
Compensation:Base starting range: $94,082 to $123,949 annually commensurate with experience. Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity.
