Full Job Description
The Role

The Business Development & Strategic Accounts Manager - Swine will drive growth across BinSentry's swine business by developing relationships with priority prospects, generating qualified sales meetings and converting opportunities into customer pilots. The role will also support pilot-to-commercial conversions, strategic account expansion and renewal planning. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product, this individual will become a trusted expert in BinSentry's technology and the needs of North American swine producers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted business-development plans for BinSentry's top prospects
  • Generate qualified meetings through strategic outbound prospecting, industry relationships, referrals, trade shows and collaboration with Marketing.
  • Lead initial discovery conversations, deliver product demonstrations and convert qualified prospects into BinSentry pilots.
  • Support pilot-to-commercial conversion by maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, understanding customer objectives and coordinating appropriate internal resources.
  • Build comprehensive account-expansion and renewal plans for strategic customers.
  • Develop a strong understanding of swine-production operations, customer challenges, BinSentry's existing products and the company's product roadmap.
  • Attend strategic customer meetings, industry events and relevant regional programs to strengthen BinSentry's presence within the swine market.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, account and activity data in the company's CRM, including next steps, stakeholder maps and conversion forecasts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Swine leadership to identify expansion opportunities and support successful renewals.


What Success Looks Like

  • Develop strong product and swine-customer proficiency and independently demonstrate the BinSentry platform.
  • Secure at least 25 qualified meetings with new swine prospects during the first year.
  • Assist in converting at least eight qualified prospects into pilots during the first year.
  • Help convert at least four pilots into commercial customers during the first year.
  • Build actionable expansion plans for top Swine accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with strategic customers through regular virtual engagement and in-person meetings.


Qualifications

Required
  • 2+ Years in a hunting sales role, or new business development
  • Historical track record of nurturing a pipeline of accounts in a limited TAM
  • Previous experience selling into strategic or enterprise accounts
  • Previous experience selling SaaS or technology modules
  • 20% travel - Remote


Preferred
  • Agricultural Industry experience in sales or account management roles
  • Outside sales experience
  • Targeted territory management experience
