As a Business Development Manager, you will make a difference every day by driving strategic growth, increasing brand awareness, and leading business development initiatives across your assigned market. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building key relationships, mentoring team members, and expanding SERVPRO's presence within the community. The ideal candidate is a proven sales leader who thrives on developing relationships, identifying opportunities, and achieving ambitious revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development Leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, referral partners, insurance professionals, property managers, and commercial clients.
  • Lead efforts to increase brand awareness and market penetration throughout the assigned territory.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.

Relationship Management
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships through regular meetings, networking events, and industry involvement.
  • Represent SERVPRO at professional associations, community events, lunch-and-learns, and continuing education (CE) programs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and referral partners by educating them on SERVPRO's services and capabilities.

Sales Performance
  • Drive territory revenue growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Track and manage sales opportunities, pipeline activity, and account development through CRM and marketing software.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, revenue reports, and territory performance updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences and successful project execution.

Team Development
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and support to business development representatives and other sales team members as assigned.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new sales personnel.
  • Promote accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

Compensation
The compensation for this position includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based commission and incentive opportunities. Total earnings will vary based on individual and team sales performance, territory growth, and revenue generated.

Compensation: $100,000.00 per year
