As the business owner for a strategic market segment, you will work closely with executive leadership, product management, engineering, and customers to develop growth strategies, shape technology roadmaps, and accelerate adoption of industry-leading inspection and metrology solutions. Success in this role comes from being a trusted advisor who creates value for customers while driving long-term growth for the business.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the Business Development owner for one of KLA's strategic business units supporting the China market.
- Develop and execute account strategies that drive business growth, market penetration, and customer adoption of new technologies.
- Leverage a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, customer applications, and KLA's product portfolio to deliver differentiated solutions and articulate measurable business value.
- Identify and develop short- and long-term growth opportunities through analysis of market trends, customer investments, and competitive dynamics.
- Maintain accurate business forecasts and drive initiatives to achieve or exceed bookings objectives.
- Lead complex commercial engagements that support revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
- Remove obstacles impacting bookings, shipments, and revenue plans.
- Coordinate customer meetings, executive engagements, product demonstrations, and strategic business reviews.
- Build strong relationships across customer engineering, operations, management, and executive teams, as well as internal cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with product management and engineering teams to align customer requirements and technology roadmaps with future product strategies.
- Provide competitive market intelligence and strategic insights that influence business decisions and growth initiatives.
Qualifications, but not limited to:
- Experience within semiconductor capital equipment, particularly inspection, metrology, process control, or adjacent technologies.
- Business development, strategic sales, product marketing, or account management experience within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing customers, technology adoption cycles, and industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated success influencing customer decisions through value-based engagement and consultative selling.
- Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Proven ability to navigate complex commercial and technical environments while building consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with global customers, particularly in China.
- Mandarin language skills are preferred but not required.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
Base Pay Range: $152,200.00 - $258,700.00 Annually
