CANDIDATE MUST HAVE: Capital Project and EPC package sales experience into downstream, chemical, refinery industry.

Summary

The Director/Vice President of Sales - Gulf Coast will lead strategic efforts to drive sales growth by securing new refining and chemical projects across key regions, including Houston, Beaumont, Corpus Christi, and Lake Charles. This role requires a proven track record in business development and sales to acquire Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the refining, chemical, petrochemical, and midstream industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting Gulf Coast refining and chemical operators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, including major operators in refining, petrochemical, and midstream sectors.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs to prioritize business development efforts.
  • Manage annual sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics to achieve company goals.
  • Provide leadership and coaching on technical solution selling, negotiation, and long-cycle enterprise sales.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop proposals, bids, and RFP responses that align with customer requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
  • Partner with marketing teams to refine messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Implement sales processes, tools, and CRM best practices to enhance efficiency and visibility.
  • Deliver regular performance reports and updates to executive leadership.

  • Strong understanding of engineering concepts and ability to communicate technical solutions effectively.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of factors influencing the execution of engineering and construction projects.
