Full Job Description
The hiring range for this opportunity is $115,000 to $150,000 annual salary along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

Manage and cultivate relationships with business banking clients through proactive calling efforts. Assist in leading a team of business banking professionals to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Provide guidance and support to team members, develop and implement business banking strategies, and foster relationships with business clients and partners. Lead by example, promote a positive work environment, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Present a variety of product solutions to meet client needs. Manage overall relationship profitability and portfolio risk.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead team in acquisition of operating businesses, loan, deposit, and non-interest income products.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with business clients, assisting with their financial needs, and promoting banks' products and services.
• Lead team of business banking professionals by providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team members meet performance goals.
• Coach in market, develop, observe, and generate business acquisition and expansion results.
• Attend networking and community events to build a strong professional network and represent the bank for the purpose of brand recognition, generate additional business, and identify potential CRA opportunities for the bank.
• Monitor team performance, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to Business Banking Director on team achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
• Understand the local market and proactively develop relationships with centers of influence and internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth.
• Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and instill confidence in customers by listening attentively and asking insightful questions to understand the customers' needs and preferences and take prompt actions to address immediate needs.
• Ensure all requests are processed accurately and timely. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and provide high-quality customer service experience.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
• Maintain an awareness of competitive products, practices, rates and changes in market area.
• Participate and maintain active roles in pertinent industry trade groups, events, conferences, civic and community affairs as appropriate.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER SKILLS PREFERRED
• High school diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 years of relevant experience in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of success in driving growth in a business banking environment.
• Advanced credit analysis, ability to properly structure and price existing and new loans.
• A strong understanding of financial products and services, as well as proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
