As a Business Banking Relationship Manager at Associated Bank, you'll grow and manage a portfolio of commercial clients while delivering tailored financial solutions that help businesses thrive. Key Accountabilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial client relationships, driving loan, deposit, and fee income growth.
- Develop new business through centers of influence, referrals, and proactive calling strategies.
- Partner with internal teams to cross-sell commercial products including Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth Management.
- Analyze financial information to structure sound credit solutions in collaboration with Portfolio Managers.
- Present credit recommendations and participate in the loan approval process.
- Ensure compliance with Associated Bank credit policy, risk management standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Advise clients on economic, industry, and banking trends using bank-approved insights.
- Represent the bank in community and business organizations to strengthen market presence and referrals.
Education & ExperienceRequired- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of commercial banking or B2B sales experience
- Proven success in business development, client management, and cross-selling financial solutions
- Reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive, if applicable
Preferred- Deep knowledge of non-borrowing products and treasury solutions
- Experience working with complex commercial credit structures
