What You Will Do:Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant to support Homeland Security and Federal Law Enforcement clients in improving mission operations, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and advancing digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, partnering with client stakeholders to analyze business challenges, evaluate operational processes, develop data-driven recommendations, and implement solutions leveraging analytics, business intelligence, automation, and low-code technologies. This role combines consulting, process improvement, and technical solution delivery to help clients achieve mission-critical outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate business processes, operational workflows, and organizational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery meetings to understand client needs and define solution strategies.
- Analyze business problems and operational data to identify trends, risks, performance gaps, and opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and data visualizations using Power BI and other analytics tools.
- Design and implement Power Apps solutions that streamline data collection, case management, workflow tracking, and operational reporting.
- Develop Power Automate workflows to automate business processes, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical and functional solution designs.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics frameworks, and performance measurement strategies that support mission and organizational objectives.
- Conduct process analysis and recommend improvements that enhance effectiveness, accountability, and decision-making.
- Create process maps, workflow diagrams, user stories, functional requirements, and technical documentation.
- Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to client leadership and program stakeholders.
- Collaborate with client teams, technical resources, and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery and adoption.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through analytics, reporting, and business process automation.
- Deliver client services while supporting business development activities, proposal efforts, internal initiatives, and professional development.
- Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables while balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic consulting environment
** This role is 100% onsite **What You Will Need:- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- TWO (2) or more years of professional experience in consulting, business analysis, business intelligence, analytics, process improvement, or technology transformation.
- Experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Understanding of business process analysis, workflow optimization, and operational performance measurement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
What Would Be Nice To Have:- Experience documenting requirements, creating functional specifications, technical user guides, and preparing wireframes/flowcharts
- Experience with HR data analytics and reporting.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage multi-task projects
- Knowledge and experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate
The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
