The opportunityOur Facilities Management team is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Houston, TX. We are seeking an Business Analyst to provide administrative and analytical support to Houston facilities management and associated teams. This will also include support for field locations.
Responsible for various office and location support activities. Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided; ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and business support service. Coordinates outside contractors and in-house services performing a wide range of tasks related to maintenance and upkeep of buildings, office space, office equipment, etc. May coordinate rearrangement of floor plans and office moves, including desks, computers and other office equipment and furniture.
What You'llDo- Work will include, general duties such as budget analysis, assignment of project costs, purchase order development, invoice approval and coding, and floor plan mapping updates.
- Assist Project Management team with opening and closing of projects.
- Analysis will include extensive use of SAP and will require experience in development spreadsheet documents to support findings. Use SAP to track and monitor purchase orders, invoices, project budgets and costs.
- Works with employees, contractors, and vendors to provide security, financial, and payment data.
- Perform badging activities related to access security for employees and contractors; Maintains security system for Houston and assigned facilities.
- Supports departmental web site maintenance and Service now request applications.
- Manages work through exercising judgment in approach on more complex and confidential work.
- Coordinate Office and Parking allocations.
Minimum Qualifications- A minimum of a High School diploma / GED; Successful completion of a college degree or recognized certificate or diploma program is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Advanced computer skills, including solid working knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Attention to detail and coordination of competing priorities
- High degree of initiative and ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to deal with changing situations and deadlines
- Ability to identify and communicate opportunities to improve existing processes
