Job Summary and Qualifications- You will ensure high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring
- You will foster a culture of accountability and collaboration, and support the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives
- You will stay abreast of legal and regulatory standards and ensures compliance, and develop and implement policies, procedures and practices in compliance with all legal/regulatory standards
- You will direct nursing practice and unit operations, develop policies/procedures and nursing standards to ensure patient and family needs are assessed, met, and evaluated
- You will ensure effective labor management, including position control, scheduling excellence, productivity management, and premium pay utilization
What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or approved education plan required
- Master's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare required
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role required
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare and in a leadership role preferred
- Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required
- National Nursing Certification in Specialty or Nursing Leadership preferred
