WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORReporting into the Director, Brand - Global of the Ordinary, the
Brand Marketing Analyst - The Ordinary - Global will serve as the strategic bridge between consumer understanding, campaign performance, and brand planning. This role is responsible for generating actionable insights that shape campaign development, brand strategy, and business decision-making.
This is a hybrid role, based three days on-site in our
Toronto office.
PAY RANGEThe anticipated base salary for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE- Analyze and consolidate campaign, consumer, market, and brand data to uncover meaningful insights and opportunities for The Ordinary.
- Develop clear, actionable recommendations that connect data and consumer understanding to brand strategy and business decisions.
- Lead the development of a deeper understanding of The Ordinary consumer, including their behaviours, motivations, needs, perceptions, and evolving expectations.
- Establish measurement frameworks, KPIs, and success criteria across global brand campaigns, product launches, and key brand initiatives.
- Analyze campaign performance across multiple channels and markets, consolidating inputs from cross-functional teams to provide a holistic view of performance.
- Translate campaign results and consumer data into clear learnings and recommendations that inform future campaign planning and optimization.
- Partner with Brand Managers to integrate data, research, and insights into campaign briefs, messaging, positioning, and overall brand strategy.
- Lead the annual consumer insights study in partnership with external agencies, translating research findings into actionable opportunities for the Brand team.
- Identify and recommend new tools, approaches, and methodologies to strengthen how The Ordinary measures brand impact, understands consumers, and uses data to make decisions.
- Partner cross-functionally with Data & Insights, Digital, Social, CRM, E-Commerce, Product Marketing, Creative, and Regional teams to bring together diverse data and perspectives and turn them into strategic actions.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE- 5+ years of experience in Brand Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Consumer Insights, or a related field, with strong quantitative and analytical capabilities
- Strong understanding of brand building, marketing, and brand strategy, with the ability to connect data and analytics to broader business and consumer objectives
- Proven ability to synthesize complex quantitative and qualitative information and translate it into clear, compelling insights and strategic recommendations
- A highly curious, self-starting mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, recommend new tools and methodologies, and build structure in an evolving environment
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
