JOB DESCRIPTION:

Brand Manager (HCP) - Abbott Diabetes Care - Mississauga, Ontario

This position is based at our Mississauga office within the Abbott Diabetes Care division and requires on-site presence four days per week, with the option to work remotely one day.

What You'll Do

As Brand Manager, you will lead the strategic marketing efforts for FreeStyle Libre within the Primary Care area. You will be responsible for developing and executing targeted strategies, messaging, and tactics that resonate with this audience and drive brand growth.
  • Develop and implement brand strategies tailored to Primary Care Physicians and allied health, aligned with business objectives and customer insights.
  • Manage key initiatives from development to execution ensuring cross-functional collaboration across medical, sales, and marketing teams
  • Create PCP and Allied Health focused marketing tools and resources aligned to strategic objectives
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the marketing, communication and other ADC divisions for shared conferences and events.
  • Interact with external partners such as creative agency, internal resources (local and international) and Global Strategic Marketing
  • Track marketing project expenses and assist in managing the budget.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Interact with external partners such as creative agency, internal resources (local and international) and Global Strategic Marketing
  • Track marketing project expenses and assist in managing budget
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills and also showcases a customer-service focused mentality.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing to HCPs, ideally with a diabetes focus
  • Proven track record in developing and executing strategic brand plans
  • Experience with HCP segmentation and targeted messaging strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, data interpretation and performance tracking
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working cross functionally with medical, regulatory, and commercial teams
  • Comfortable with numbers, budgets, and analysis


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in healthcare marketing
  • Sales experience or close collaboration with sales teams is a strong asset, especially in a specialist driven therapeutic area


The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,750 to $146,300 CAD. The salary range provided applies to Canada only and does not apply to any other locations outside of Canada.
