Job Summary:

The Austin Branch Manager for Toyota Lift of South Texas is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining operational efficiency. This role involves supervising staff, developing business strategies, and ensuring compliance with Toyota Lift of South Texas standards and regulations. Not only considered a forklift dealership, we offer a vast range of material handling products, including automation systems, motive power solutions, dock/door equipment, and sweepers/scrubbers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:
  • Oversee all branch operations, including sales, service, parts, and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure the branch meets its financial and operational targets.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Maintain the dealership's facilities and equipment to Toyota's standards.


2. Sales and Business Development:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Identify new business opportunities and local market trends.
  • Monitor sales performance and set targets for the sales team.
  • Promote and sell Toyota & Power Allied products and services, including automation systems, motive power solutions, dock/door equipment, and sweepers/scrubbers.


3. Customer Service:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement customer feedback to improve service quality.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.


4. Staff Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff, including salespeople, service advisors, and technicians.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
  • Create a positive and productive work environment.


5. Technician Management:
  • Coordinate and manage the schedules and workloads of service technicians.
  • Ensure technicians are properly trained on material handling equipment and service procedures.
  • Monitor the quality of work performed by technicians to ensure it meets Toyota Lift of South Texas standards.
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for technicians.


6. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure the branch adheres to all Toyota Lift of South Texas policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with branch operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.


7. Marketing and Promotion:
  • Plan and execute local marketing and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to implement Toyota Lift of South Texas branded campaigns.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.


8. Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on branch performance, sales, and operational metrics to the regional manager.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.


9. Community Engagement:
  • Represent the branch in the local community and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in community events and initiatives to enhance the branches of Toyota Lift of South Texas


Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • In lieu of degree, 5+ years minimum of industry experience or equivalent experience


- Experience:
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the material handling or related industry.
  • Experience in sales, customer service, operations management, and technician management.


Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
