We're Hiring: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Salary Range: $80,340 - $94,666

 

Bancroft is actively seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Center of Excellence; a team of approximately 50 Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs/BCBA-Ds)  providing services across our organization. We work together to treat challenging behavior, build skills and have the ability to collaborate with a large group of like-minded clinicians.

 

We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), for our childrens community program in Mt. Laurel NJ. The community residential treatment program includes an interdisciplinary approach to care, rooted in Applied Behavior Analysis. The BCBA will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team that includes nursing, psychiatry, and operational support.  The BCBA will direct the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within this framework. The BCBA serves in a leadership and supervisory role, managing Behavior Support Specialists (often LBAs in training) while also conducting direct clinical work.

Responsibilities

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst supervises and oversees all activities associated with the development and implementation of behavior analytic services within the Individual Service Plans.

  • Leads the development and implementation of behavior plans; this includes functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments and treatment evaluations.  
  • Engages in ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.  
  • Identifies training needs and develops and conducts those trainings to ensure the ongoing knowledge and ability to effectively implement behavior plans.  
  • Conducts/oversees team screening admission evaluations and intake assessments; oversees the admission, transition, and discharge processes. 
  • Coordinates and leads clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons served.  
  • Serves as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Conducts and presents research to internal and external audiences.
  • Serves as a clinical supervisor, implementing ABA themselves but also, training and directly supervising Behavior Support Specialists.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.

  • BCBA certification required. *New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.

  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred. Prior management experience is also preferred. 

 

*Though NJ licensure is a requirement, candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.
