- Experience with Autodesk Platform Services, Autodesk Forma/ACC, IFC, source control, and structured software testing is a plus.
Personal AttributesThe successful candidate will exhibit the following attributes:
Grounded Technical Judgment- Approaches complex technical questions with disciplined reasoning and close attention to accuracy, consistency, and traceability rather than quick assumptions.
- Balances innovation with practical awareness of quality, maintainability, compliance, changing requirements, and downstream consequences.
- Notices small discrepancies that could create larger model, data, or integration problems without becoming rigid about methods.
Responsible Skepticism- Naturally tests assumptions and looks for missing context, inconsistencies, bias, or unsupported conclusions in technical information, including AI-enabled or automated outputs.
- Explores emerging approaches with purpose, separating useful advances from polished recommendations or novelty that may introduce unnecessary complexity.
- Remains accountable for judgment, verifies important information, and is willing to revise a view when stronger evidence or practical experience indicates a better direction.
Independent Ownership- Is self-directed and dependable when navigating complex work that does not have an obvious answer.
- Takes personal responsibility for the soundness, completeness, and long-term reliability of their contributions.
Collaborative Credibility- Earns trust through clear reasoning, consistency, and respect for the expertise and constraints of others.
- Is comfortable influencing outcomes through knowledge, evidence, and constructive challenge without relying on formal authority.
- Translates technical complexity with patience and consideration for different audiences.
Other Skills and Requirements:- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly, manage competing priorities, and exercise appropriate discretion with sensitive or confidential information.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Dynamo, and Autodesk Forma (ACC/BIM 360).
- Working proficiency with Python and experience using APIs.
- Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
