Job DescriptionResponsible for demonstrating excellent customer service in accordance with the U.S. Bank Core Values while serving as the primary Small Business Banking partner for assigned branches and relationships and providing comprehensive financial solutions to small businesses with annual revenues between $500K and $2.5 million. Typically supporting two to three branch locations, the Small Business Relationship Banker acts as a dedicated resource for branch teams, helping to address complex small business client needs and opportunities. The Small Business Relationship Banker builds and deepens client relationships through proactive outreach, structured discovery, consultative selling, and disciplined follow-through. The role translates financial information, cash-flow dynamics, client goals, operating cycle considerations, and risk indicators into practical guidance and solution recommendations.
This job requires outside prospecting and sales activities to grow revenue and achieve assigned financial targets and growth goals. The banker identifies stated and unstated client priorities, aligns products and services to growth, efficiency, and risk objectives, and clearly articulates value, trade-offs, and next steps. Solutions may include business deposit products, lending and credit products, treasury management, payment solutions, business credit cards, digital tools, cash-flow tools, and other appropriate small-business solutions.
The role actively develops internal and external relationships, collaborates with branch partners, centers of influence, clients, and other business line partners, and maintains relationship ownership and coordination through handoff, decision, follow-up, activation, usage, and demonstrated client value. Through regular engagement with assigned branches, the banker shares referral outcomes, successful sales and service practices, and insights on newly established small business relationships to strengthen partnership effectiveness and client growth opportunities. The banker balances acquisition, deepening, and service while maintaining strong CRM discipline and responsible banking practices.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience and job-related experience
-Three or more years of customer service, consultative sales, networking, prospecting, and/or small-business banking experience
-National Mortgage Licensing Service registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z and ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record
-Bilingual ability to read, write, and speak in business-level proficiency of Spanish language and English.

Compensation:
Total compensation includes base compensation in addition to eligibility for incentives based on the employee's production under the applicable incentive plan.
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location five (5) days per week. This position also requires two or more hours of driving per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $35.05 - 42.83
