Position Overview:The BI Business Analyst reports to the Senior BI Manager and serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. In this role, you will gather and translate business requirements, analyze complex data, and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that support informed decision-making across the organization.

Here's more of what you'll get to do:- Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand objectives, reporting needs, and operational challenges.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable business insights.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations using BI tools such as MicroStrategy and Tableau.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, usability, and governance of reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and automation efforts.
- Support data modeling, testing, validation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for BI tools and reporting solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Help foster a data-driven culture through collaboration, education, and informed decision-making.
What we require:- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or a related area.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
- Experience using BI and visualization tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, processes, workflows, KPIs, and data definitions.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional or technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required, along with applicable technical certifications and experience supporting technology-related functions.
What We Prefer:- Restaurant or hospitality industry experience.
- Project management experience or certification.
- Experience with modern or cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience using Python or advanced Excel analytics.
