In this role, you will serve as the frontline support for employee inquiries, coordinate closely with vendors, assist with leave of absence tracking, and ensure operational accuracy across enrollments, billings, and compliance. This role is ideal for an organized HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at delivering an exceptional employee support experience.

- Enrollment & HRIS Administration: Review and approve employee benefit elections and qualifying life events in Workday, verifying eligibility and plan rule alignment.
- Leave of Absence & Accommodations: Coordinate day-to-day leaves of absence and workplace accommodation requests in close partnership with third-party administrators, People partners, and payroll.
- Invoice & Data Reconciliation: Assist with monthly billing reconciliation, auditing carrier enrollment files, and cross-checking payroll deductions to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Vendor & Payroll Coordination: Liaise directly with benefit carriers, TPAs, and internal payroll teams to ensure seamless enrollment file feeds, resolve claims escalations, and correct premium deductions.
- Open Enrollment & Project Support: Provide hands-on administrative coordination during annual Open Enrollment and special projects, including draft communication reviews, user acceptance testing (UAT), and configuration audits.
- Compliance & Documentation: Assist in gathering documentation and running audit reports for compliance obligations (e.g., ACA/1095-C tracking, Form 5500 data prep, ERISA, and COBRA notices).
- Communications & Wellness: Support the rollout of benefits education campaigns, new hire orientation materials, and employee wellness initiatives to drive program awareness and engagement
To succeed in this role you must have experience in:
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on U.S. benefits administration or HR coordination experience, preferably within a fast-paced or tech-forward organization.
- HRIS Proficiency: Prior experience working directly in HRIS platforms; Workday experience is strongly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working familiarity with key U.S. benefits regulations, including FMLA/CFRA, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and ERISA.
- Prior experience supporting Open Enrollment logistics, UAT, or system cutovers.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheet functions (e.g., VLOOKUPs, basic formulas, pivot tables) for audits and reconciliations.
- Communication & Service: Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills with a strong employee-first, customer-service orientation.
- Work Style: High level of organization, discretion with confidential PHI/HR data, and the ability to hit the ground running in a time-bound temporary assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to global benefits administration or international broker coordination.
- Relevant HR certification (e.g., aPHR, PHR, or CEBS coursework).
