Behavior Consultant - IBHS

Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time (In-person / Community-Based)
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Overview

Paragon Behavioral Health Services, a division of Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC), is seeking a skilled and motivated Behavior Consultant to support children and families through high-quality, individualized behavioral health services.

This role offers the opportunity to work directly in home and community settings, delivering evidence-based interventions that create lasting outcomes.

Position Summary

The Behavior Consultant conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, and provides behavioral consultation services in alignment with IBHS standards. This role focuses on improving client outcomes through data-driven interventions and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Provide consultation and training to parents and caregivers
  • Deliver services in home, school, and community settings
  • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to support treatment goals
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral stabilization
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with treatment teams and external providers
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and program development
  • Ensure compliance with IBHS, state, and organizational standards


Qualifications

Required:
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children or adolescents in behavioral health
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong communication, organization, and clinical skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation


Licensure (one of the following required):
  • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS)
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)


Requirements
  • Ability to obtain required PA clearances (Criminal Background, FBI, Child Abuse)
  • Compliance with OIG/Medicare/Medicaid screening requirements
  • Ability to provide mobile services across assigned areas
  • Strong ability to work both independently and within a team

Work Location

This is an in-person, community-based role serving clients in Lancaster, PA (17608). Candidates must be able to travel locally to provide services.
