Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications. The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, experience with modern backend frameworks, database design, and API development, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Build scalable and reliable microservices and distributed systems.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, QA, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
Required Skills - Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or C#.
- Experience with backend frameworks (Spring Boot, Express.js, Django, FastAPI, NestJS, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API security.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) is preferred.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of backend development experience (depending on the role level).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of system design and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
