Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
• Admission in good standing to a State Bar, preferably California
• 6-10 years of experience in REIT and real estate transactions
• Expertise in managing detailed and complex legal projects
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
• Manage outside counsel and coordinate with internal teams on transactions
• Prepare and review confidentiality and listing agreements, and letters of intent
• Coordinate due diligence and transaction activities with deal teams and outside counsel
• Handle closings and follow-up post-closing activities
• Assist in preparing and reviewing intra-company agreements, including loan and restructuring documents
• Maintain and manage legal forms related to transactions
