Virginia Automotive Service on Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond, Virginia, is looking to hire an experienced Master Technician / A-Level Technician with a Virginia State Inspector License who can perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on a wide range of vehicles. We are seeking a highly skilled technician who can accurately diagnose complex issues, deliver high-quality work, and lead by example in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

INDUSTRY-LEADING PAY

We offer highly competitive compensation for Master/A-level Technicians with earning potential of up to $110,000+ annually (including a guaranteed salary component), along with a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000, depending on ASE certifications, Virginia State Inspector licensing, and overall mechanical experience.

Compensation: Up to $110,000+ per year

Location: Virginia Automotive Service - Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond, VA

Requirements

TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related concerns
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems accurately and efficiently
  • Perform repairs including engine performance, drivability, electrical systems, steering and suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, cooling systems, and driveline components
  • Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information systems to identify and resolve vehicle concerns
  • Perform Virginia State Inspections in accordance with state requirements
  • Mentor and assist less-experienced technicians as needed
  • Ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time while maintaining high productivity standards
  • Document inspection findings, repair recommendations, and completed work accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work collaboratively with service advisors and management to deliver an exceptional customer experience
