Requirements
TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related concerns
- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems accurately and efficiently
- Perform repairs including engine performance, drivability, electrical systems, steering and suspension, brakes, HVAC systems, cooling systems, and driveline components
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information systems to identify and resolve vehicle concerns
- Perform Virginia State Inspections in accordance with state requirements
- Mentor and assist less-experienced technicians as needed
- Ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time while maintaining high productivity standards
- Document inspection findings, repair recommendations, and completed work accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and management to deliver an exceptional customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS- Virginia State Inspector License required
- ASE Certifications strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Proven advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with scan tools, oscilloscopes, and modern diagnostic equipment preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment
