Full Job Description
Automotive Sales Manager -MBB
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, enhance customer experiences, and achieve ambitious targets. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in team leadership, and have a knack for cultivating strong client relationships, Kollective Auto Group is looking to hire an experienced sales manager.

It is necessary that you have experience as a manager at a franchise automotive dealership for consideration.

What You'll Own
  • Sales consultant development (your #1 priority). Coach, train, and hold a team accountable to daily activity, CRM discipline, and closing standards. Your success is measured by their growth.
  • Desking and deal structure. You'll stay heavily involved in the desk - less about starting the pencil, more about reworking it. We need a manager who finds the path to the deal regardless of the obstacle in front of it.
  • Daily showroom leadership. Lead from the floor in a high-pressure, high-organization environment. Drive urgency without chaos.
  • Daily sales meeting. Meetings start at 8:45 AM, every day. You set the tone.
  • Tech stack discipline. Own the process across our full tech stack - DriveCentric, CDK, ACV MAX, and vAuto.

What We're Looking For
  • Significant, proven sales management experience in retail automotive - this is a hard requirement. We are hiring an experienced operator, not training one.
  • A perpetually optimistic operator who genuinely enjoys the deal - the hunt, the structure, and the close.
  • Demonstrated discipline and work ethic. This is the non-negotiable. We are not a hangout; we are a results environment.
  • A proven track record desking and managing in a high-volume store (luxury/premium a strong plus).
  • The ability to develop people, not just close deals yourself.
  • Bilingual candidates strongly valued - Russian fluency is a meaningful advantage given our customer base.
  • Working command of our tech stack (DriveCentric, CDK, ACV MAX, vAuto) is a strong plus.

Schedule & Expectations (Read This Carefully)

We're transparent about the commitment because it filters for the right people:
  • This is not a 40-44 hour role. Our managers average 50+ hours per week.
  • Daily start: 8:45 AM sales meeting. Managers are present.
  • The last week of every month, we work all six days. That's when business is won.
  • You get one scheduled weekday off.
  • Closed every Sunday.
  • Closed major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Why Kollective

Nine dealerships across New York and New Jersey means real, vertical career growth - this is a platform where strong managers move up, not out. We hire at the pace of the candidate: we'd bring the right person on tomorrow, and we'll wait for the right fit over the wrong one.

Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision
  • 401K Plan
  • Paid time off
  • Growth opportunities
  • Paid Training
  • Employee Vehicle Purchase Options
  • Individually owned and operated
  • Discounts on Products and Services

Pay: $195,000 - $250,000 annually (base salary + commission/bonus), with upside for top performers.

Our managers earn a base salary plus a percentage of gross profit - including new car gross, used car gross, wholesale gross, and dealership holdback. The right operator who builds a strong team and runs a disciplined desk has a genuine path beyond the top of this range. Specific plan structure and percentages will be provided upon offer.
