Sales Manager

Liberty Kia | Ramsey, NJ

A strong automotive finance background is a major plus. We are looking for someone who understands the entire sales process, from greeting the customer through delivery, and can help improve both front end and back end performance.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily one on one meetings with each salesperson to review opportunities, overcome challenges, set goals, and provide coaching for continuous development.
  • Develop each member of the sales team through consistent coaching, accountability, role playing, and performance feedback.
  • Identify individual strengths and areas for improvement and create action plans to help each salesperson reach their full potential.
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire the sales team to achieve monthly sales, gross profit, and performance goals.
  • Report daily and monthly performance metrics to the General Manager while holding the team accountable for results.
  • Desk deals and structure transactions for maximum profitability while maintaining a great customer experience.
  • Step in to assist with customers whenever management involvement is needed.
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to maximize finance and product penetration.
  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure timely customer follow up.
  • Maintain inventory knowledge and proper merchandising standards.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain top sales talent.
  • Foster a positive, high performance culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Help drive dealership profitability while maintaining outstanding customer satisfaction scores.
