Full Job Description
Winstead PC is seeking a 2-4 year attorney to work with our IP Litigation practice group in our Austin office. This team frequently handles high profile litigation for well-known clients. This is a growth position in a thriving practice group with a clear path toward advancement in the firm. We are looking for motivated associates who thrive in a collaborative in-office environment with other litigators. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  1. Commercial litigation: Candidates should have experience with large, complex litigation, and be familiar with the pace and expectations of top-tier litigation work.
  2. Technical Background: A technical undergraduate degree is preferred, and a Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering education is a bonus.
  3. Required Skills: Candidates should have a history of projects requiring attention to detail, exceptional writing skills, and great trial advocacy skills to be successful.
  4. Desire to be in the office: This team is extremely collaborative and invests significant time in the training and mentoring of associates in the group. To fully integrate into this team, candidates should be enthusiastic about working in the office on a regular basis.
