ResponsibilitiesIdentifies, evaluates and rehabilitates audiological disorders and hearing loss in adult patients according to clinical competency. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.
QualificationsREQUIRED- Master's degree in Audiology.
- Current licensure by the Georgia State Board of Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
PREFERRED- Doctorate in Audiology.
- Two (2) years of licensed clinical experience.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology granted by the American Speech -Language-Hearing Association or previously holding certification; or meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification with completion of CCC in one year.
