Full Job Description
Overview of Role & Core Responsibilities
The Advanced Therapy Monitoring (ATM) Registered Nurse plays a specialized, high-acuity role within Cureety's Advanced Therapy Monitoring program, delivering outpatient video-visit care to patients at home following CAR-T therapy, bone marrow transplant (BMT), and during the high-risk step-up dosing period of bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) therapies.
We are seeking an experienced oncology Registered Nurse based in the Tampa Bay area to serve as a clinical expert, supporting patient care coordination and workflow collaboration. The role is remote, with onsite visits to local client clinical teams approximately once a quarter and as needed. This individual will provide remote monitoring, virtual assessments, and care coordination across Cureety's multistate ATM patient population.
Operating within a collaborative, nurse-led care model, the ATM RN triages patient concerns, manages clinical escalations surfaced through Remi, our AI-powered virtual oncology care assistant, and partners closely with oncology and hematology teams to ensure timely intervention and seamless communication regarding patient status changes and care plan updates.
This is a full-time position within Cureety's Virtual Care Center supporting the continued growth and expansion of the ATM program.
Advanced Cellular Therapy Clinical Practice
• Participate in cellular therapy workflows across the ATM program, from patient identification through post-treatment monitoring.
• Conduct video visits with patients following CAR-T, BMT, and BiTE step-up dosing on an outpatient basis.
• Review patient-reported outcomes, physiologic monitoring data, and symptom assessments, supporting escalation pathways during high-risk monitoring periods.
• Assess, triage, and manage escalations identified through Remi, applying clinical judgment to determine urgency and next steps.
• Recognize and manage cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS) risk, including early identification and escalation.
• Maintain clinical awareness of cytopenias, bleeding risk, infection risk, and other oncologic emergencies specific to the post-cellular-therapy and step-up dosing periods.
• Communicate proactively with treating oncologists and malignant hematology teams to close the loop on patient status changes and care plan updates.
• Escalate cases requiring onsite and provider-level intervention to the client per agreed-upon workflow and escalation processes.
• Maintain in-person relationship continuity with Tampa-area client clinical teams through onsite visits approximately once a quarter and as needed to address workflow, education, or care coordination issues.
• Coordinate with ATM clients for patient identification and onboarding into the program.
• Document all patient encounters, clinical assessments, interventions, and communications accurately and timely within designated EMR and technology platforms.
• Participate in the ATM program's on-call rotation.
Program & Quality Contribution
• Ensure preparedness and compliance as it relates to remote patient care for the defined ATM patient population.
• Work collaboratively with the Virtual Care Center and ATM team to follow all Cureety policies, procedures, escalation pathways, and communication and documentation best practices.
• Bring frontline insights back into program design, workflow improvements, and product requirements as the ATM program scales across additional cellular therapy and BiTE regimens and client sites.
• Support quality reviews, audits, and identification of safety improvement opportunities.
• Adhere to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality management processes.
• Participate in training, competency assessments, and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
• Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Active, unrestricted multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license issued by the nurse's primary state of residence.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain single-state RN licensure by endorsement in non-compact states (e.g. Nevada & California), sponsored by Cureety, within 30 days of hire.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Certified Nurse (HSCT / cellular therapy specialty).
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in malignant hematology/oncology nursing.
• Direct clinical experience with advanced cellular and immune effector therapies, including CAR-T, BMT, and bispecific T-cell engager therapies.
• Resides in the Tampa Bay, FL area, with willingness to meet in person with local client clinical teams approximately quarterly or as needed.
• Ability to work a schedule supporting patients across Eastern through Pacific time zones, including participation in ATM on-call coverage.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR); must be able to navigate multiple platforms simultaneously in a fast-paced virtual triage environment.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, high attention to detail, process orientation, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and therapeutic rapport with patients, caregivers, and oncology provider clinical teams during a high-acuity, high-anxiety treatment period.
Preferred
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Nevada, California, and/or Minnesota.
• Experience with remote monitoring, virtual care, or telemedicine.
• Experience with Epic, OncoEMR, and/or Cerner.
