Full Job Description
The Maryland Office in Columbia, Maryland is looking for a Workers' Compensation Associate join our growing team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conduct legal research and provide analysis on various legal issues.
2. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
3. Represent clients in in person court hearings.
4. Meet billable hours requirements.
5. Manage client relationships and a caseload independently.
Position Requirements:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school required.
2. Admitted to practice law in Maryland and Washington D.C. required.
3. 2-5 years of Workers' Compensation experience preferred.
4. Experience and familiarity with Maryland Rules of Civil Procedure, and Rules of Evidence
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
6. Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is an in-person position.
The salary range for this position is $110,000-$140,000 and represents C&W's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
