Full Job Description
The paid advertising team is looking for someone that thrives in a fast-paced environment, want to work in a team-oriented environment, and be inclined to seek out challenges and opportunities. We are open to employees based in either the Washington, D.C., or New York City metro areas.

What You Will Be Doing:

Client Management
  • Owns client relationships and serves as the day-to-day lead across multiple small accounts or large workstreams.
  • Manages timelines and deliverables for multiple clients with minimal oversight, proactively addresses issues, and builds trusted client partnerships.

Paid Advertising Specific
  • Media Strategy & Planning: Leads strategic development of integrated paid media plans across multiple clients. Translates business goals and audience insights into high-impact channel strategies. Oversees platform selection, budget allocation, and measurement frameworks to ensure performance and ROI. Mentors team and drives innovation in paid media tactics.
  • Direct Response Campaign Development: Designs and executes high-performing fundraising campaigns across digital channels with focus on donor acquisition, conversion rate optimization, and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Campaign Execution & Finance Operations: Oversees junior staff in campaign execution while also being able to jump in and directly launch and optimize campaigns as needed. Brings a proactive, strategic mindset to campaigns from launches to mid stream optimizations to wrap. Manages finance ops process.
  • Reporting & Insights: Guides junior staff in creating strong client reporting and adds strategic insights. Clearly communicates complex nuance and in depth media plans to the client.

Strategy
  • Oversees development of clear, strategic, and persuasive content across projects. Provides guidance and editorial oversight, elevating team outputs through thoughtful feedback and mentorship.
  • Leverages tools and sources to generate insights that shape strategy, applying seasoned judgment rooted in client and stakeholder priorities. Ensures deliverables drive long-term goals.
  • Anticipates gaps or misalignments before they arise, guides teams to course-correct, and ensures alignment with strategic objectives.

  • 8+ years of agency experience working in paid media programming, strategy and management.
  • Ability to manage many different projects at once.
  • Proven track record in lower funnel, direct response advertising and fundraising campaigns.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative, energetic, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience managing and guiding junior talent.
  • Ability to work with colleagues across the agency.

The salary range for this role is $105,000-130,000.

We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 50% of working days per month.
