Irondequoit Animal Hospital is looking for a f ull- t ime Veterinarian to join our team in Rochester, New York .
Generous sign on bonus!
We are seeking a doctor who is passionate about caring for pets and, by extension, their families. If you are a newly-graduated or early-career doctor, you will be hard-pressed to find a hospital and hospital group that is more supportive of you and that is motivated to have you become the best doctor that you can be. If you are an experienced veterinarian, then you will be welcomed and integrated into the team with open arms and perhaps a few baked goods. We are firm believers that skills can be taught and experience can be earned, but work ethic, personality, time management skills, and being able to work as a member of a team must come with you.
Our progressive compensation model includes competitive base salaries with production compensation opportunities - p lus, no negative accrual .
At Irondequoit Animal Hospital, we provide primary and urgent care to cats and dogs in Irondequoit and the greater Rochester area. We focus on the highest quality of care possible for every pet that we see, while also balancing the realities of the limitations that pet owners have. The doctor team here at Irondequoit has a wide range of interests and experiences, and you will not have to go far for a second opinion on a case should you need one.
While the patina on the building has enough charming character itself, the real gems are the people on our team. We pride ourselves and work hard on maintaining a supportive, collaborative, and care-focused culture. Our team of Customer Service Representatives, Animal Care Assistants, and Licensed Veterinary Technicians are well-trained and we continue to evolve with medical and operational best practices.

Lunch breaks are 12-2 every day and will afford you the opportunity to finish notes, complete call-backs, run errands, or just take a break if all caught up.
We are open Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., serving the Irondequoit and Greater Rochester Area Communities.
