Mountain Veterinary Hospital - Associate Veterinarian (DVM)

Location:Bellingham, WA - Bellingham is the City of Subdued Excitement, known for its range of outdoor activities in the woods, the snow, and the water. We are also well stocked with breweries, delicious food, a bustling downtown Farmer's Market on Saturdays, and lots of places to see live music, comedy, and theater. We have the feel of a bigger city but we've packaged it into a smaller town package. For those larger events you are looking at, Seattle an/or Vancouver, BC are only a couple of hours drive south or north along I-5.

The hospital itself is located about 10 miles outside of the city limits. On clear days, we have a great view of Mount Baker from our parking lot. There are food options close by and a spot to go to the Nooksack River to get away at lunch time and read a book.

  • Open Monday through Saturday
  • Small Animal only at this time.
  • Integrative medicine - combining Western Medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation:
    • Surgery
    • Acupuncture and Chinese Herbals

    • LVT getting certified for their CCAT (Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist)

Clinic, Equipment, and support team:
  • Anesthetic machines and monitoring equipment, surgery lights and table
  • 2 lasers: K-Laser and Summus
  • Portable ultrasound machine
  • Underwater Treadmill
  • Fiber internet and individual computers for each doctor
  • AI assisted dictation to facilitate your SOAP's
  • 1 Assigned Assistant to each doctor for every shift, plus a "float" and/or LVT

  • A new software: we are switching from a Cloud Based Server to a Web based software (Shepherd): early Spring 2026

  • Our LVT will be able to offer much needed Rehabilitation to the patients in the surrounding areas once she gets her certification: end of Summer 2026
